If you’ve lost all your teeth, traditional, non-fixed dentures are rarely the perfect solution. Such dentures are uncomfortable, can cause pain, are unstable, and make eating difficult.
However, modern dentistry offers many solutions. The All-on-4 procedure is one of the most innovative solutions.
With the All-on-4 technique, a dental prosthesis attached to 4 implants specially implanted in the completely edentulous jawbone can be made.
One of my most important goals in recent years has been to identify and master techniques that allow bone replacement to be avoided for my patients.
In 1998, Professor Paolo Malo performed the first All-on-4 procedure under the Nobel Biocare® framework, which has since become a globally recognized and widely used solution for treating complete tooth loss.
Through the development of the All-on-4 treatment concept, zygomatic implants, Nobel Speedy implants, and the specialized ‘Malo Clinic bridge’ protocol, Professor Malo made it possible to provide fixed dentures on implants even in cases of severely atrophied jawbone, avoiding complex bone replacement surgeries.
Recently, I have participated in several clinical residency programs led by Professor Malo, where I gained qualifications and valuable experience in these advanced procedures.
